Does anyone remember those Michelin I-Spy books you used to be able to get? It was like playing I-Spy by yourself, yeah I know it sounds thrilling and anyone who doesn't know what I'm on about probably had a much more exciting childhood than I did, but that's by-the-by. The point is you used to buy a book, on for example football or cars and then have to spot certain clubs or types of car. For each car you would get a number of points, depending on how rare it was, 5 points for a Ford Escort, 50 points for a Mclaren F1. Anyway if you got a 1000 points you could send off for a badge, which I am proud to say I never did, although as you can see from my knowledge of the subject I came very close to it, but decided in the long run my 20p could be better invested elsewhere. The version below is an updated version on a modern day subject - C-Bass, scallies, townies, charvas whatever you want to call them. So get spying and when you get 100 points you get your certificate (see bottom of page) and we aint even gonna charge you 20p for the pleasure. |
