'Hilarious' Outtakes
Here are a collection of ideas which didn't quite meet the high standards of the Beano Kru website this year.
The idea: How big is Pete?
How it would have worked: A Great Debate which would have had a huge introduction which implied we were talking about his dick. You dirty minded fools would be shocked by this until it was revealed I was talking about his height. I am splitting my sides just thinking about it.
Reason for not using it: Is Pete 6ft 3 or 6ft 4?
The idea: Pimp of the month
How it would have worked: Self explanatory
Reason for not using it: Too dangerous
The idea: Christmas Crackers
How it would have worked: A Christmas quiz with the winner collecting 1 cream cracker.
Reason for not using it: What would have happened to the rest of the crackers in the packet?
The idea: Who wants to be a millionaire
How it would have worked: Again another quiz which would have been very similar to the TV programme, the hilarious twist being you would not be playing for £1,000,000 but one million Turkish Lire, which is worth a stupidly small amount.
Reason for not using it: Copyright issues, getting 1m Lire, can't be arsed to think of 15 questions.
The idea: Beano Kru does Shakespeare
How it would have worked: Where art thou at university?
Thou hast brought shame on thy Beano Kru etc. etc.
Reason for not using it: I'm a bit of a philastine and can't write much in a Shakespearean way.
The idea: Guy's Fork
How it would have worked: A special Guy Fawkes night special, whereby contestants answer a simple question for the chance to win a.....oh shit! We actually did that.
