Have you seen Eyes? This is the question on literally nobody's lips. However it does make a reasonable feature for a website lacking in many original ideas. So it is with great concern that I am able to launch the Beano Kru Appeal...2: Where is Eyes? The last successful appeal saw Big Pete freed from jail, although rumours currently circulate about his whereabouts (editors note: Leaves it open for possible follow up, something along the lines of Let's Free Pete 2 etc.) This appeal focuses on Urban Dwellers jackass - Eyes. As the only Dwellers player who's whereabouts are unknown (apart from Hughes, but who cares about him. If he does read this no offence.) I feel we should try to locate him. So simply fill in the form below and then do sod all! |

Now, this you would think would have been a very busy month for the website, what with everyone off to uni and everything. The plan was to copy and paste some of the messages from the message board onto the site. However it turns out they were deleted a long time ago so you'll just have to make do with the little bit which did appear on the site. A short rant by myself. |
Not so much a rant this month as a series of minor annoyances which have contrived to make my life a bit more difficult. The story began this morning when I received confirmation of my university accommodation for next year. This in itself was a good thing, although I was a bit disappointed to discover I hadn't got my first choice and would now be living 3 miles from the Uni. However these things happen and it's not the end of the world. I read on. "Your room is RAPERS 172" What! I asked for a hall of residence not a prison cell. What do they think I am? What are other rooms called? Homicide 23, Petty thief 141, Geoffrey Archer 376. On the up side from what I've heard your probably better off living in a prison than halls, after all there holiday camps aren't they? Next I moved on to the infomation concerning freshers week. I was already a bit peeved because Newcastle started one week earlier than most other uni's. But now I was reading Fresher's week began Friday 13th September, first of all it's Friday 13th, not good! Then there is the fact I will have to be there on the 12th, a Thursday. This will cause problems with anyone who was hoping to get a lift from parents who work because it's a Thursday and not the weekend. Another thing, what sort of a week begins on Friday and is only 4 days long? - the answer - The University of Newcastle's freshers week. That means I start for real on Tuesday the 17th. Jesus Christ, I haven't even started yet and I'm already slagging off the place, it's going to be a fun 3 years. Ah well that's life or as I believe the geordies would say; "wyeough na patdelk, man!". Next up, Eyes disappears, questions start to be asked. |
